Anhaga,
I hope everything is okay.

Medical emergency! That sounds worrisome - although in my limited medical emergency experience I've found that there are many that can be cured with a nice, cold bottle of Keiths, or a really dry martini!
I hope everything is okay

Thanks all. Things are on the mend.
And, in my usual annoying and mysterious way that's all I'll say.

Actually, I'm only back or a moment.
Then I'll go away for a bit.
Then I'll come back again.
And so on . . .

I had a splitting headche once. I prefer splitting three year old cheddar che myself.
Now, I'm going to get back to real life.

Ah, mezcal... the worm
Great for headaches
Seriously, you can sometimes get rid of a headache by pressing vigorously on the pressure point above the web of your thumb.. Let's see if I can find a link to a graphic....

Yep, here's one.. http://www.kreinik.com/articles/news.php?newsid=32
They don't mention the way to locate the center of the point:
When you line your thumb parallel with the index finger, the web area makes a little mound. The center of the ho-ku point is beneath the 'peak' of the mound. You'll know you have found it, because if you have a headache this pressure point will hurt like hell
You must press quite hard, which will hurt, and you should do both hands. If you can force yourself to press hard enough, it will relieve your headache almost immediately
... or just drink more mezcal
