Hoo is probably the youngest, though he would never tell me his age. YOu mean being the supreme lurker that you are you never found his photo? It's at the beginning of the Wee Jimmy thread. Check it out if you like. The rest of the photos I was sent by email. Oh, not Alji's - you can find him on my page - a thread about weddings.

I couldn't figure out who was Alji in that blizzard of wedding photos. Yeah, Hoo does look pretty young, at least compared to what I expected him to be. Bejesus, I've just realised that I haven't talked to him for about six weeks now.

Alji is the bald very pleased looking gent standing next to the happy bridegroom - I think in the second set I had asked him to send again.
Also have photos of Moth and Chai. Gosh, who else? Can't remember right now. Oh, just go to a photo booth and then scan them and send them (from any place that has a scanner if you don't)

I'm a photophobe. There aren't any pictures of me over the age of seven that aren't of my back or the back of my hand. But I'll take a look around, and look for one of those machines. I also want to mess around on the business-card thingies while I'm at it. Make about fifty "Fnord - Because We Care" or something cards. Cryptic, ya know. Then hand them out to my friends.

Well, the photo I have sent everyone is three years old (and several kilos ago) because I honestly do hate having my picture taken. Will try and get a decent more up-to-date photo taken when Blues is here visiting. Excuse to take photos while out sightseeing and stuff like that. Will try to look thin(ish)

Oh, dear. I've poked around on my computer and the best I can find is a monochrome one of me pulling a stupid face on the last day of school. Hee hee, I look funny.

*Yawn* - even potater chippies can't keep me awake for more than 24 hours. I'm off to bed now, after half an hour of intensive az-lurking. Oh, by the way, I tripped across the "hi barb" thread, and I thought what you two said was very sweet. And no, I'm not really offended that you called me kid, "mum". Take that! Oh yes. It was really very sweet and things, and should I stay off that thread in future?

well, lurker, did you also check out my raindog thread where the guy very unceremoniously dumped me as his friend and also cleaned out his personal page the same day . . . all because we had been MSN-ing and it was the day I had hurt my back and I was in quite serious pain and all weepy - and I guess I said something he didn't like.
But talk about an over-reaction.
THEN he tried to make *me* feel bad, like it was all my fault through some character defect or something - anyhow. Most unpleasant. A couple of months ago that would have hurt me a lot more. Instead it just stung - like a slap in the face. But no pasa nada . . .
Should you stay off the Barb thread? I don't see how I could stop you going anywhere. Thing is, this *is* a totally public thread but I think people often forget that when they are chatting together on a thread that is only the two of them.
I don't think I ever say anything about anyone that I would mind them reading if they chose to lurk. So lurk if you find that fun.
And although I am old enough to be your mother, in fact I am nobody's mum. But you are somebody's kid. So - can call you a kid if I want to!
Hey, it turns out that both Jane and I are posting to you at the same time while we continue having an MSN chat. How special are you?????? Okay, gotta go. Jane is threatening to leave me and go to bed if I don't stop talking to you.
kissitos,

Thing is, if you call me 'kid' I would take it as a compliment!
I'm still such a kid in so many ways, though I hope in a childlike and not a childish way, ya know?
Oh, I mentioned to my pal Patron Saint of Kittens that she might like talking to you as you are similar in age and perhaps similar regarding some personal experiences. So she might be stopping by.
I like her a lot. She is quite open and honest and - at least to me - also quite interesting. Well, you may hit if off or not.
Was so pissed off this morning. Got ready to go out for an early morning bike ride only to discover my front tire had gone flat. So later I took it down to the bike shop, only to find out that they are not open on Saturdays in August. So now I will be bike-less until Monday.
Saw your posting this morning on the Meaning of Life thread. To be honest, I think you would have done better to totally ignore the Man from Mars posting and carry on as if he wasn't actually there. To attack a newcomer on a thread just because you don't like them is not a cool thing to do. It also isn't a polite thing to do. And I am not criticising you, only saying that everyone would have found out quite soon that this person seems to be talking out of his @rse most of the time. It would have behooved you to wait for this to happen. But that's just me talkin.
Anyhoodle, very very hot again today. Spent the morning, after the aborted bike ride and bike repair attempt, going out for breakfast with my friend and wandering around town for a couple of hours. Also got out a dvd called The Hunter, starring my heart's desire Benicio del Toro, so am quite looking forward to watching that later on this evening.
What are you up to this weekend? Make sure you eat a lot! And send me a photo.

weird weird weird
that thread has totally gone to h*ll in a handcart.
now am going to drool over Benicio del Toro - got out The Hunted on dvd -
see ya later . . .

It feels slightly weird to be talking to you both online and on Hootoo.
Yeah, I was talking to Kittens this morning.
And it probably was very rood of me, but I couldn't help it.

Oh dear, az - I was just knowing my enemy when I spotted that Man from Mars has me on his friends list! That's a bit odd, wouldn't you say?

Mal Posted Aug 11, 2003
. That's about all there is to it, really.
I'm worried for the world that contains that Man. He seems convinced that he's always right, and that's NEVER a good sign.

What's new? Haven't seen you around in a couple of days.
I've been mostly cleaning my house, which is terribly exciting. Preparing for my guest's arrival on Sunday. Well, it's good to have a push sometimes to get these really tedious things done.
Wondering whether to go and see Pirates of the Caribbean dubbed in Spanish. I hate dubbed films and almost never watch them, but not sure if I can wait until this one comes out on dvd.
That's all - no news here - hoping you might have some.

Just come back from sunny sunny Mallorca! Hola!
I am tired, thirsty, hungry, skint, ruffled, rumpled, stiltskined, and more than a little angry due to overtiredness and paranoid delusions about my pareja having an affair while she's away from me at Reading. Also I am concerned about growing bald, and will soon be off to write a letter to my MP.
(Got my GCSE results waiting for me on the doorstep - not that bad - 2 a*s, 2 a's, 1 b. Oh, and a c. The rest were d, which I'm more than happy with, since I didn't put any work into any of them at all. Yay!)

must go eat popcorn now. . .

Thankyou, Zu. It's pretty okay since no work whatsoever was input... and I've actually been accepted for college! Well, that was unexpected.
