i really don't have anything to write but oddly enough i feel obligated to write something.i don't even know why i titled this lentils, because i have no intention of discussing them. i mean lentils are a silly subject (however tasty) and hardly worth a printed page. they are nice in a soup though and that's something i suppose but i am not going to talk about them. lentils are hardly worth the time or energy. they aren't even a nice color, like a nice kidney bean. yes i won't talk about them at all.

green. i've never seen a red lentil. are they as boring as the green variety?

No has mentioned my friend marrowfat peas They luv love and are rather mushy in this respect.

what's a marrowfat pea? are they indeed mushy? i had a rutabaga once that liked to write sonnets but they weren't that mushy.

I won't go into why I bothered..... much too personal.---What in the world are marrowfat peas? Marrow's good, and so is fat and peas(split, whole, green or blackeyed)but all three together sounds nasty!

Yes I am afraid its is true mushy peas are made with the marrowfat pea. Soak & cook with a little salt. Not to much salt or it will make the skins go to hard.
