No, when did you last have it. To find it work backwards, but don't trip over cos your eyes are at the front.

Strangely, red lentils are orange. I've never understood this, so I usually add some tomato paste to remind the lentils that they are red, not orange. Green lentils are Puy. Very trendy in posh restaurants.

Is it true that Monsanto are planning genetically modify red, yellow and green lentils to be the first organic LCD's and to have them replace the rather expensive bulbs in traffic lights?

Chic peas are nearly white - will they do.
BTW you can soak most lentils and make your own bean sprouts(shoots).

Lentils can taste good - depends how you cook them and what you have with them. They are great in stews and if cooked properly you don't know they are in there apart from the additional taste they give.
Bean sprouts(shoots) - Great in chinese or stir fry - but DON'T stir fry the poor chinese; he won't like it.

Yeh but be careful some seeds give toxic shoots (too many to mention here) potato shoots are a definate no no. vegiman
