I've just watched all 8 episodes on dvd, these were absolutely brilliant! It's a shame it won't be coming back to tv.

Hi Everyone
I'm new to this forum. I am a big fan of Crime Traveller and have every episode on DVD.
It is unlikely it will be re-commisioned, which is such a shame. It was really good. I know when the BBC axed it, Michael French was said to be absolutely gutted.

That's the first I've heard of that, but even if it was, it was a good part and Slade was a good character.

Its such a shame there are not more series it was fantastic. And not since it was first show the beeb(BBC) have not repeated it once, which suprises me because the keep repeating everything else. I don't know why we pay our tv license!

It was repeated on UK gold, but that isn't quite as useful I'd imagine.

That is the good thing about DVD, you get access to all these good series that TV execs didn't like.

They would, but the only way to get a picture is to write an entry of such outstanding wit and genius that it becomes editors choice on the front page, and I am finding it hard to find any time to work on this entry at all
