On a personal level, Jaez, I agree with quite of lot of what you say - but a look at the Writing-Guidelines leads me to conclude that Peer Review isn't really the best place for such a personal and polemical point of view.
How would you feel about transferring it to the <./>Alternative Writing Workshop</.>?

I fear that this is entry will be referred to the editors for review, regardless of where it appears, given the current editorial policy.
But I have to agree with the other researcher that it isn't appropriate for the Edited Guide. It probably would be a good Askh2g2 topic.
