Cork meet up??
NPY Started conversation Jul 25, 2005
Thanks for letting me know!!
So I'll admit that I probably wouldn't have been able to get there, but it's nice to be asked.
What about having the next meet in tthe north? We're not that scary up here you know.

But we did let people know! Gnomon posted here in March --> F118683?thread=603375
If you are subscribed to this page, you can find out what is going on as soon as someone posts it. It's not usually the practice to go around to other people's personal spaces -- it's too close to spamming.
I would love to go to the North - I worked in Belfast for a few years in the early '90s, but it is difficult for me as I have a young family. Nevertheless it would be very tempting!

King Bomba already asked us up North, but the day he picked was one when I won't be available. As it happens, I'm going to Belfast on Wednesday with my family to see the W5 centre again, but it wouldn't be a problem to hop up for a meet-up, if it was a day that suited.

Yes I'm going to Belfast tomorrow, but I don't intend to meet up with anyone, as I'll have my hands full with four girls. We'll spend most of the day in W5, but may drag ourselves as far as the BBC shop if I can find it, to buy Dalek posters etc.

BBC shop isn't terribly huge in Belfast. But it's not too bad. They should have lots of Dr Who stuff in. You know where it is ok?
Don't worry. I wouldn't be gatecrashing on your trip anyway. Wouldn'yt be right to land if it's not a proper meet-up.

I'm still on for a Belfast one at some stage, NPY. Summer's not really the best time for a lot of people though, with holidays and all the rest of it.
Incidentally, I think you're the only other northerner I've stumbled across on h2g2. Well, there's Lucky Star and Demon Drawer, but they are both living elsewhere.

Well there's me, and Lord Smooth (if he's still about) are from the north. Check out the page and see who else there is.
true about holidays and stuff.
Glad to hear someone else is up for Belfast too, though. Hopefully it'll happen.

I'm now in Killyleagh!
OK, let's have some thoughts about a Norn Irn meet, then!

Don't let it clash with the Dublin Meetup on 16 Sep!
