Gnomon - time to move on

I've requested that the Ireland Researchers page be moved from Lord Smooth's account to mine, since he hasn't been around for more than a year, and we need someone to be able to add new members to the list.

Maybe we can revive this place.

It certainly needs a bit of a spring-clean - I've been back from Lux for 2 years now!

Gnomon - time to move on

Thanks, Derek.

I've discovered that there are two other pages that are linked to from that main page:

A1105732 Sam Maguire's Traditional Irish Pub
A1009324 Entries about Ireland

Can you transfer ownership of these to me too, please? U151503

Sounds good. What about colaborative entries or something about all things Ireland?

Is it Coleraine you're in, NPY? I'd be happy to help with an entry on the town if you like.

Oooh, me too! I grew up in Castlerock, went to Coleraine High, and parents now live in Portstewart.

Local trivia: my sister, who went to Dominican, was Jimmy Nesbiit's first director, as she directed Lord of the Flies when he was a first year.

Was that in a film? or was it on stage?

School play, dear.

Spookily enough, just after I posted that, Yer Maun hisself was on Dame Edna Average show (may have been an old one...) and mentioned that he'd been at Coleraine Inst. I think in them days Domincian was still a girls only convent. I can find out more details - she's returning from having spent 7 years down under to take up a post as drama lecturer at Queens.

Sounds like fun! Lots of North Coast people about then.

And another Coleraine High girl!!

Definately a Coleraine/Causeway Coast entry could be fun.

I'd forgotten that I'd started to research for an article on Moutsandel Fort, so gonna try and finish it. Got some research done into Coleraine entry too. Anyone wanting to collaborate, just yell.
