nice write-up.
The only thing I can think to add was that it was shown on bbc2 in 1994.
well done.

Any more comments? I haven't seen it, but I've heard of it. Which demonstrates just what a landmark it must be

Hello
I have had this film shown to me, too much blood and gore up the walls for my taste but still.
Anyway I think it might be worth mentioning I'm told there was a difference between the original translation and a recent one closer to the japenese.

Well done.
The synposis is direct and the character analysis is straight on!
Perhaps the only suggestion is for a better ending. Perhaps a brief note about introducing Western audiences to Eastern animation or a few examples of newer works influenced by Akira. . .
Strong work.

I know I just posted yesterday, but I was wondering if you felt this was complete, or if you wanted to work on the article more?

Perhaps everyone's saving themselves for when this hits the Front Page... something it will be ever so slightly closer to being in about five seconds.
