Has world got to an impasse?

An unseen virus takes lives from house and street.
They say by next year the vaccine will help.

Jim does not have access to a computer Prof as the libraries are only having a book lending service. Internet shops are very few in Bradford and have over an hour wait and cannot be prebooked. I am writing on behalf of him and I am able to log on to h2g2 page.
