Welcome to PR, and H2g2, you can update your introduction to have some friendly ACEs greet you, and as for your entry, you might want to take a look at the GuideML clinic

Aspirin also comes in powder (like in Sal de Uvas, a Mexican version of Alka-Selzer which works better IMO) and in dissolvable tablets (like Alka-Seltzer).

Did you mean to add these to your article?

Plus, lots of other meds out there contain aspirin mixed in (like Excedrin).

acetylsalicylic acid doesn't need to be capitalized, as it is not a proper noun.

Great Entry. It's one of those things you always wonder about. At least I always wonder about these things.

Just one more question: How do you avoid the dissecant coming into touch with the medication, is it packed in sachets, or in a different reservoir?

I'm heartened to see a new user jumping in with the GuideML tags. Perhaps you'd be willing to try the tag too...
Just frame your paragraphs with . This will help space your article out visually.

Just a thought.

The desiccant does come into direct content with the product, however this is not an issue unless the desiccant is broken and the carbon comes into contant with the product. There are frequent check of the product being produced and if there is any sign of broken desiccant or any other defect there is an inspectoin of the good produced and any goods failing the inspection are discarded.

Hey tOm, thanks for updating your personal space.

You can give yourself a different name by clicking on the preferences icon, if you wish. . .

Anyway, I'm about to dive in for another read of your work. It's quite long. . .you might want to have an editorial read yourself; on trick is to start at the back and wqork your way forward, ignoring content, but checking spelling and grammar. Any entry of this size is bound to have *something*.

Nice work so far though!

smiley - erm So my aspirin bottle will contain Aspirin tablets and small desiccant spheres? Can I ingest the desiccant by accident, say if I was hungover for example, or are they packed in a sachet?

Aspirin bottles are obviously a lot more popular in the US, I guess, than over here in Germany. Here they're usually packed in foil, most people, however, use the efervescent Aspirin version.

the desiccant are considerably larger than the aspirin tablets. i have a feeling if you're taking aspiring due to being hungover, and you somehow manage to swallow the desiccant... well, good luck.. haha.. thanks for all the feedback though..

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
