It didn't look like there was anything particularly yikesable in it to me. It was a bit of a rant and rage, but that could (arguably) be justified given the tone of the OP.
Their main point was that something they posted in their journal was being taken out of context, and that hurts them because their perceive their journal as being a personal area, rather than a public one.
While that is true, I think it should also be considered that it isn't a private area, however. It is available on a website that anyone in the world can view. Post anything and anyone, anywhere, can take your words and use them as they see fit.
So, personal maybe, but private definitely not.

Personal perception, which changes by the minute for some folks, is in fact the nuisance that I have seen here and there. 'Tis nearly enough to make a few long-timers of the site to simply flock off to elsewhere

That's a whole different kettle of fish, the old public vs private argument.
It's a public forum, and the quote used was so over-the-top that it proved my (slightly frustrated) point perfectly.
If whoever it is wants to rant and rage, that's fine. There's no reason at all to Yikes that.
That's all this post is really. A rant, with an admittedly humorous bent, because I was wound up. A way of venting some steam. Which in turn led to a cavalcade of avian puns that'd drive anyone quackers.

Well you do know the old adage, ... birds of a feather ... roast some pork. They ain't cannibals, ya know.
(Yeah, I know, that ain't going anywhere long enough to become an 'old adage', but I gotta try for immortality sum-chow)

The Yikesed post's back. Not sure how using evidence from a journal post to prove a point is an example of rape, but hey, what do I know?
Best not to delve too deeply into that, methinks.

Given that this has obviously upset someone, I'll be taking this journal off my PS.
I've not revised my opinion of that person, but there's a difference between not liking the way someone interacts on h2g2 and having a prominently displayed post explaining why you feel that way.

Ah, but that's unsubscribed me. If I post, will this spring back? Ignore this post!

Yes, it looks like it does put the post back. Anyway, due to the limitations of h2g2, I'll be unsubscribing from this to facilitate the removal...

Yes it certainly isn't a private area literally. But IMO ps should be accorded civilised respect that doesn't need any rules or regulations ordering you to that.
Because of everything that has happened here in the last few months, I certainly now view a ps in a different way.
