I'm going back into weekly Post writing soon, but just out of interest, which album do you guys think I should review first?
I've got a shortlist -
Joy Division - Closer
Dogs Die in Hot Cars - Please Describe Yourself
Doves - Black and White Town
Kaiser Chiefs - Employment
Kasabian - Kasabian
I will (hopefully be reviewing all of them, plus a mixture of classic (my cd collection) and new (whatever falls into my lap) albums.

Ok well IMHO the DDHC and KC albums are very good and worth reviewing.
I think the Doves have not moved on since the last album but the new one is ok.
Kasabian would have been awsome had the released this album in 1990 as it is it is rehashed generic pop. Nothing wrong with that (I actually like it) but it is about as origional as the sixth season of changing rooms if you catch my drift.
Having said that Employment is pretty much the best bits from mid 90s Blur, Pulp and Oasis so what the....
I suppose I just like brit pop more than Madchester....
Dunno if you have listened to the Bravery- The Bravery yet.
If not err give us a shout at ferrettbadger(at)hotmail(dot)com

It's man, my brother's getting me the album. Employed little scamp that he is.
And Cat, search for them on Google. Or look at the link on my PS.

It's gonna be the Kaisers. Got their album today, listened to it, was mightily impressed. They are very Blur-esque though.
