Secretly Not Here Any More Started conversation Jul 9, 2004
Well, on average I post a Journal every 4 days. Which is pretty sad really because most of them involve me babbling on like this because it's been 4 days since my last entry...
So let's make the best of a bad situation shall we?
Let's sort something out straight up. I mention Kat on here a lot. Now none of you barring Joe, Si, Mark or Dan (New at U783388) have the faintest clue who she is. So here goes.
Katherine and me - The Basics.
1) She is not my girlfriend. She's my best mate, and I did fancy the arse off her when I was 15, but that's four years ago (near enough as makes no difference) now damnit, and I'm over that!
2) She's the ex-flatmate of Becky, the evil sadistic bitch who tried to ruin my life, and failed miserably, alienating herself from our peer group in the process. Upside of this is a much better relationship with Kat and Joe, who I clung to for two months trying to get my head straight.
3) We're going on holiday together in 4 weeks, this will involve bedsharing. It will not involve and naughty business.
4) She goes to gigs with me, and I've promised her that I will pay for her to see Oasis with me when they next tour.
5) In four years, the longest I've been without seeing her is 8 days. Longest without speaking is something like 4.
6) She's moving to Edinburgh for Uni and I'll miss her like naught else.
Let's hope she doesn't read this at any point because she'll be fair pissed at me divulging information on her to the public...
Keep on Trukkin'

So, she's going to Edinburgh for Uni and you're going where? And how far apart are they?

I now have a bet on with Joe. I'll win 20 nicker if I get a picture of Kat stood in the erotic museum.
This may be difficult.

...Would she allow you to take a photo of her there? I mean, getting her there could be the easy part... Does she let people take photos of her?

Once you get past about 13, you stop hiding from cameras.

my mother-in-law still tries to hide from cameras; as she's always overreacting and running away from being photographed, all photos of her are necessarily dreadful. it's a vicious circle.

Yeah, well, I suppose in Oz they're too busy hiding from Dingos up until about 13.

Aren't enough dingoes left where I live. Far too many kookaburras though...

that is, the dingos that don't get eaten by the salty landsharks. the really cool thing about australia is that wherever you go there are half a dozen species of critter that can kill you.

a redback snake, shark, or jellyfish? or maybe a redback penguin? please don't tell me it's some kind of redback flying squirrel with venom that can kill an 8 meter long salty cobrashark in 30 seconds...that would give me nightmares!

it's a spider. Box jellyfish are the worst kind of jellyfish. Penguins aren't actually dangerous... they're cool, they have the penguin parade on Phillip Island
