i think the only reason penguins aren't dangerous is that none are native to australia. if there was an australian species of penguin it would probably be able to kill you with the evil eye or something.

But the little fairy penguins are so gorgeous!!
Not EVERYTHING that's native to Aus is dangerous... I'm failry sure platypusses (Hmmmm, I can't remember if that's platypusses or platypi... everyone seems to debate about that) can't kill people...
I mean yeah, we've got all those snakes and spiders and jellyfish etc... and the Kookaburras are really annoying...
But still...

Hey, what's this I read about people wanting to hunt down and kill great whites in the oceans around Australia? Surely they're not allowed to as they're an endangered species?

Yeah a surfer or something got eaten by a shark, and all these people were like "KILL IT!!" and the guy's brother was all like "No, don't." and then he had some reason and I don't know what's happening.
Also, it depends where you are as to where redbacks hide.
