Hi zephr4173, I've left a message on your page(& partially due to the hour, made a numerical error)). It is just the posts, but once you get to know a few people, e-mail & IM are certainly options. I had used both in the past, although I'm rarely e-mailing & am not using IM at all currently.

Here's a few some advantages to using posts:

- you can hold a conversation with people even if you're not always online at the same time.
- you can take part in multiple conversations without leaving people hanging.
- you can easily look back in the conversation at earlier posts.
- you've got time to consider what you intend to write.
- it's easier to meet new people, as posting doesn't require knowledge of an IM account or email address.

Yes all excellent points Alex...I'm quite happy posting, I was merely suggesting a couple possible alternatives.
