Actually, there was a point to this entry. But I've temporarily forgotten what it was.

Oh yes. I wanted to say a big HELLO! to any creatures lower on the evolutionary scale than a demented bee. Oh, and to you lot as well smiley - biggrin

So, yes, I exist, still, and I can't get on MSN at school (cos I can't download it) or h2g2 (cos I don't have the time). I still get my email - [email protected], and I check it almost every day in termtime.

How are all you lovely people? Especially those of you who I don't talk to on the phone? Being good? Maintaining a healthy level of insanity? Good, good.

I've also proved, by doing this, that Norfolk Libraries computers work. Hmm. The browser is horrible and slow and it doesn't do anything, but they work. Just.

Anyway, must be off, things to do, people to see, buses to catch...

Take care!

JC

You spelt called wrong in your PS cat-eyes. Sorry it's the sort of thing I'm noticing right now.

Joe I can never ever forgive you for not having a PC. Yes I've heard alll about it, but I can't forgive you...because the language thing has ground to an impressive halt. Completely and utterly.

Let's all go "awwww" smiley - sadface

You alright cat-eyes?

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ?

Yeah, I'm fine... Why?

Where is it spelt wrong? The only place I can find it is in this sentence: "I have 2 cats, but that's not why I'm called Cat-Eyes."

smiley - biggrin

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ?

My school seems to use the "Is it on the web?" "Yes" "Block it" filter, which sometimes extends to "But it might be useful" "Quick! Block it before anyone finds out!". It's very annoying. It never use to be this bad, but then they rebooted the system over the term 3-4 holidays and we came back and had these new computers which weren't even allowed on our own school site. They eventually unblocked that.

I think it's all like that. Our school blocked anything and everything too. It was even worse for us because it meant that the boarders were still restricted to the school blocking even when we weren't at school! So in the evening when everyone else went home and did whatever, we were struggling with homework because things had been blocked. So we asked if boarders could have less strict blocking and they said no because we were still under school rules, despite the fact they had always emphasised the fact that boarding house rules were separate from school rules and the two didn't mix smiley - erm

We're under the grasp of Symantec WebSecurity. It's actually quite lenient; I can get on h2g2, and my local radio station's website, and Yahoo Groups, but it blocks Hotmail and some of the other webmail providers because using email is against the rules.

Still, it doesn't stop me using my email - and if they try to stop me I'll just tell them I need it for Young Enterprise smiley - tongueout
