The badges are different...
I understand we're getting more badges for EG authors soon. I wonder what color they're going to use. I vote for puke green.

By the way, if you look at Jimi X's page U53353 you can see the new badges. It's more of a square with a number.

Why do I let you out of the cage?
For anyone who's interested (yeah, just me) I now have a purty 75 entry badge on my PS. It just feels right.

Oooh very posh! So, are we liking the new blocky badges?
The links to the old badges still work which is for me. I was worried I would have something odd happen on my PS or something.

I'm always worried that the badges are going to stage a mutiny on my PS. Luckily, I have little sheepish spies everywhere.
The new blocky badges... I'll get used to them. They're certainly not any worse than the old ones. Not sure why they felt the need to get rid of the old ones, but there you go.

If I may toot my horn once more, look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/blobs/editedguidebadges.jpg, from the get-your-own badge page thing, and check the background - the upper fourth of the background is, I think, the Category page of Ohio entries, with several of mine mentioned. The lower fourth is Pennsylvania, and I have no ungodly idea what the other two are.
I really am fantastic, aren't I?

That's without the comma.

Mmm I would have thought we would revert to the old Classic ones or something...these ones are similar but not as swish me thinks.
Weren't the brunel ones thought too complicated and 'clunky' or something? I lost the email somewhere...

When they said that they were getting rid of the Brunel badges, I assumed that was because they didn't want to make 25, 50, 75 and 100 entry pages in the Brunel style, but it turns out they didn't make the entry badges like the Alabaster/Goo ones anyways.
Someday, mark my words, they will come down with a comprehensible decision. They're due.
PS - if any italics happen to be lurking, please note that I think they're very beautiful/handsome.

Actually the gold color of your 75 badge is one of the better colors I've seen used for badges. Congratulations.

I think they'll update it if I ever get to 100.
By the way, I put an exhausting entry on Alexander Hamilton I've been working on for two months today, so I may just have to slow down.
I swear to god, Hamilton is one of my favorite Americans, but that entry damn near killed me.

You are setting your own pace. So slow down. Don't create stresss for yourself by imposing a lot of timelines on yourself.
Hell, I do pretty good at writing until I give someone a date when a piece will be ready. That seems to jinx me. A million things always come up. So, in future, I am not promising anyone anything.

Who said anything about stress? All I said was that it almost killed me Honestly, I enjoy a good writing challenge. Eisenhower's probably next, then RFK and maybe Washington.
"So, in future, I am not promising anyone anything."
Funny, that's my motto - Promise nothing, deliver much and then mock Hypatia mercilessly.
