Hmm, I think they were at the greater Goose Pagoda. smiley - blush

Guess it's time to ask smiley - dragonprincess to have a "picture tagging session". I've already started to forget the buildings smiley - yikes

I was in Japan with the then Mr DQ a few years ago. Lots of photos were taken, but we never sat down and tagged them. Now whwn you look at them it's more like "oh, it's that big temple in Kyoto, isn't it?" Sort of sad really.

No I recognise them now as the Wild Goose pagoda: we visited it as well and were very taken with the stone carvings, so I'm kicking myslef for not recognisng them straight away!
