Don't know where the term snob came from. But there are certainly posh parts of Solihull where people consider themselves part of the county set not the metropolitan society.

Can I just clarify this - are you actually from Solihull? I relaise that there may be people like that, I'm just pointing mout that I don't know anyone who thinks that.

OK, fair enough, you didn't actually use the word snob, so sorry, but posh is nearly the same. Just out of interest, I'm not trying to ctch you out or anything, which parts do you consider to be the posh parts?

Are they not the ones with the osses?
How does one get down off an oss?

One mounts an oss from the left. How does one get down off an oss?

One does dismount an oss on the left but one obtains down from a duck.
One is obviously from the servant's quarters. Be that as it may how-so-ever, one is still from Solihull.

Hi!
*wonders if this 2 year conversation is ongoing*
I would like to make some comments!
I'm from Solihull
I am a Silhillian
I am NOT posh
people tell me I speak posh and have no accent
I don't care what they think
We used to be part of Warwickshire, (if you look at some of the older buildings you can see the Warwick bear symbol) but now we are West Midlands!
I don't have a problem with Birmingham, I like it there, good shops and nightlife, I do however have a problem when people say I’m from Birmingham. I'm not, I have nothing against Brum but I am proud to be a Silhillian and get annoyed when people say "Solihull is just the post part of Birmingham" it's not part of brum at all, just shares a boarder!
Brilliant Entry tho, well done!

Too right, and thank you.
What part of Solihull are you from? I'm living in Hillfield now but I spent most of my life in Monkspath.
