Hi
I just tried to add a guide entry and it was rejected because, I am told, it contained an unsuitable word. However, it didn't tell me WHICH word was unsuitable. How can I find out what it is rejecting?
Cheers

Sounds like you've run into h2g2's infamous profanity filter
It's an absolute pain with Guide Entries, precisely because it doesn't tell you what the problem is.
If you're copy and pasting from another programme into an Entry, try putting bits of it in at a time and then hitting the update button each time you add a paragraph or whatever: that way at least you'll be able to narrow it down.

(Alternatively, seeing as it's you , you could always e-mail me a copy and I'll see if I can spot the little blighter! Addy's on my PS).

Cheers Trin
Aha, found it! The b*st*rds would let me use the word b*st*rds
It's currently A14049443 - I will submit for review after a few more checks.

Wow - shocking eh?
I'm looking forward to settling down to read that Sorry about 'Her Cartographer' - still, I hope a lot of people will get to read it anyway (I think a lot of people already have - it was very much admired in the UG).

I got around it in the end by using b@st@rds - LOL.
I've also added another entry at A14049911 just to keep you on your toes - this one's quite short and is in a "slightly" different style to the first (ahem).
Thanks again for the comments about "Her Cartographer" - is there any way to see how many different people have read the entries? E.g. some sort of "hit counter"? Would be interesting to know!
Right, now to submit both of the new entries...
