h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, this is a new one on me. Never had so many friends before. Can't send cards out to everyone, I don't have addresses, and I'd be bankrupt!

This year has been brilliant for me - I've been on Hootoo for a few years now, but not until this year did I actually become friends with other researchers. Since I got a Quote Of The Day back in, ooh, ermm... February, lil started the ball rolling, and it has snowballed into a big snowball-like thingy with lots of friends in it, arms and legs poking out in a sort of cartoony fashion.

Thanks to you all for letting me join in all the fun - if I'm honest, this is the first place I've ever felt I've fitted in. You're all as loopy as me!

So, to all my friends, followers, ers, assorted floor-coverings, characters of dubious identity, witches, mice, and anyone else who doesn't recognise themselves in that pile,

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and all the best for 2008!
