well, chickenpox is one of those nasty things where one infection does not guarantee protection for subsequent ones!
well, getting one common cold infection doesn't protect you from future infections either, although for different reasons (too many darned causative agents). i would think that it doesn't apply if your herpes zoster virus is dormant, because i'm pretty sure that almost everybody's gotten chickenpox at least once before. i suppose it would only do harm if your immune system has been compromised in some way, and dormant viruses don't do anything...

Hmm i thought chicken pox was one of those things you were supposed to get once and then be spcial against it forever and ever.....or not of course in my case

She's put me on Diclofenac and i'm on the list to see the specialist to see if it's a trapped nerve or something. She's a bit bemused by me to be honest.
