h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, another year of Uni began today. My last unfortunately

Despite being here for a hefty portion of the time, I've not actually written anything about what happened over the summer and there's a reason for that - almost nothing happened, it was pretty dull as I spent most of it without a real job in my house without real housemates. I did start the summer with a host of summer schools for prospective Uni students. While this work was well-paid, extremely rewarding and enjoyable it was mostly just tiring. Nice to make a difference from time to time though. I also did a fair bit of work on my dissertation, which I think I'll truly appreciate later in the year.

But now I'm back at Uni with real housemates and it's wonderful. I'm doing subjects I'm going to really enjoy and I'll only have 2 exams in the entire year (but loads of essays) which is just the icing on the cake

summers can be truly dull on occasion but have fun now you're back at uni enjoy being a student while it lasts, its no fun when you have to stop and be an adult

I really wish people would stop reminding me of that! I only have 9 months of this bliss left, I don't know what I'll do with myself when I have to get a job and work for a living.

Lo siento, I shall no longer talk of that which will not be named however , remember you can always leech of parents and others for a while

Or what about an MA? (Well, it would put off real-life for a year ... )

Nah, I've looked at MAs and I don't like what I see. Plus most of my mates are leaving Manchester at the end of this year, it'd be too depressing to stay behind
