Hey hello, long time I haven't been on the Talk Buffy-site. :-S And I shouldn't be here now, the pile of papers 'To learn before friday' is terryfyingly high. But you now what? I've had my Philosophy-exam the day before yesterday - and it was sooooo easy. *happyhappy* That's one down...
But how have you been. Had some fun during the holidays?

Whoops, only just seen this one. Sorry about that. I had a really nice holiday, quiet and I got to spend some time with my family, which I haven't really done for a long time. I only have two exams, one is a week today on Critical Thinking and the other is on the 26th on Moral Philosphy

No biggie. I don't check my messages here all that often, so sometimes my answers are a little late too. 2 exams? Lucky you, I've got 8. But! Only 3 to go, and after that, I'm gone skiing... *WIEHIEEEE*

Lucky. Where are you going skiing? I've been sorting out my summer holidays, I'm going to the South of France for a fortnight at the end of August/start of September

I'm going to Rizoul, somewhere in the French Alpes. It's organized by the university, and I'm going with this great group of 6 guys and 6 girls. *Counting down - 13 days to go*
South of France in summer is great too, I have a niece living over there, and I can stay with here from time to time, always fantastic Are you going on you're own, like you did last summer? That's something I'd like to do to, but haven't got the chance yet...

At the moment I'm going alone but if anyone wants to come along I'll certainly think about it, it might be nice to have some company, especially since I'm going to stay in the same region this time

Mikael Posted Jan 18, 2004
Where exactly is it you're going? I know South-France a bit, but yeah, it's big, so that doesn't mean much...

I'm flying to Toulouse, spending a couple of days there because the gay scene is supposed to be quite good, then moving onto Carcassone for a few days and then spending a week in Perpignan, mainly on the beach

Sounds good. I have been in Perpignan once, but that's ages ago. Picture me whinig 'Auntie can I have an ice-cream? Pleaaaaaase?' on the beach, and you have an image of that vacation.
I do now Cannes rather good, but I don't now if that's a long way from Perpignan...

It is a good long way from Perpignan and I have ruled out the Cote d'Azur for two reasons: it is too touristy and I couldn't get a cheap flight there even if I wanted too. Do you remember if Perpignan was any good. All I need is a beach and some sunshine but I'd like to have somewhere pleasant too and I can't find much info on the place

:-s I was like six years old or something. I have some vague memories, but my definition of 'a good holiday' changed somewhat over the last twelve years, so I can't really say anything useful I'm afraid.

Darn! I was talking to a girl on my corridor who says she has a friend from Perpignan so we've made a deal, she introduces me to her friend, I introduce her to a very handsome Spanish guy I know. It's a win-win situation

Mikael Posted Jan 19, 2004
There you go, you have you're company ànd you're guide to nice places. What could you possibly want more?
Hm, one thought though, do you trust that girl's taste for guys?
Just saying hi
HonestIago Posted Jan 19, 2004
Oh, no. The girl's friend is also female, it wouldn't be that sort of a guide she'd just be able to show me some nice places, that's all
Just saying hi
Mikael Posted Jan 20, 2004
Well, you have you're guide, that's the point.
and oh, by the way
YOU STOLE MY JOKE ON THE GAY-DAR REPAIR GUY!!!!! *grrrrrr*
Hm, does that mean I actually wrote a funny post? Nah, must be a mistake...
Ok, and now I feel like Chandler coprighting his jokes because Ross had sent one of his jokes to a magazine...

Yes, I did! Back on the 'Whish you were queer'-thread, while we were talking about Micheal MacFayden!
And you get the copyright, that's SO not fair, I was first. *whining*

HonestIago Posted Jan 20, 2004
Okay, I'll give the copyright to you, I'm a generous bloke

Though I may use it from time to time, it's too good not to use, I'll always say you came up with it. Cross my heart
