Some parkrun friends and I ran the off-road & muddy Clarendon Marathon (Salisbury to Winchester) in 3 hours 44 minutes. 
Definitely a great route.

What route did you take? Through the New Forest or straight across?

OK. I've just found it - the Clarendon Way, 24 miles so that's a very impressive time.

It was a full marathon, so they added a couple of loops to make it the correct length. When I said 'some friends and I ran the marathon' I am being absolutely 100% truthful and if some people inadvertently get the impression that we all ran the full distance rather than ran it as a relay, why, that's just unfortunate.
