Hey, haven't talked to you for a while, h2g2 reconstruction and all. Huh, seems they've nipped most of your smilies and other knick-knacks.
That's a shame, I did like your smilies, especially the metric one. Looks like most people have a bit of reconstruction to do.
Maybe I should get on with my own,
Later,
D. ( or maybe <DD< )

Hiya Ddombrow, yes I am disappointed about the loss of smileys - but I've got a cunning plan to get them all back by the end of the year! It's a shame, though, as I spend a lot of time on those smileys and the other artwork... I'm also upset that all my old favaourite conversations no longer exist... All those words I wrote, conversations with friends gone..
But nevermind - hope to see you around!

ahh *expresses sympathy* I really feel that in joining h2g2 for the first time and never having been here before i'm missing out on the best. It's like arriving at te party to find the cake has already been eaten. Bluebottle you seem a decent sort, tell me is there any point in me staying?

Bluebottle Posted Mar 19, 2001
I'd stay - admittedly, it's a little bare at the moment, but it'll start to fill up again. Yes, the smileys and pictures were nice and now missed extras, but the soul of the site was the conversations with people. Most of those people are still about, so although sopme of the older conversations have gone, you can still share in all the new ones.
So I'd definately stay - afterall, hopefully it can only get better!

Me? I've been fine, my friend. Although since the H2G2 change I've only really been going online once or twice a week... I stopped H2G2ing, and haven't got back into the habit, I guess.
Apart from that I've been fine - quite tired, though, but otherwise fine.
And you?

Hi just thought I would pop by. Sorry I am of late appearing as a gatecrasher of conversations, but it is fun trying to find and meet new people in this virtual realm, while trying to find old friends.

Hello Patrick. You are beginning to appear as a gatecrasher you know...! But as far as I'm concerned you're welcome to stay.
Awwwww... BB! Not got back into the h2g2 habit?
Ho hum... that's what the move has done to us...

I don't mind talking to you either, Patrick. Good to see you here
I think I'll get used to H2G2 again soon, it's just the getting here and being dedicated. Perhaps I'm just going through a lazy phase.

Yep, I know I've already said, but I agree with BB. Please feel free to stay Patrick!
Mmm... I hope so. There'll be a lot of people who'll miss you if you don't get back into the habit! And I'll be one of them.

I'm not really doing that much at the moment, just average, everyday stuff really.
I went to Stoke and back over the weekend - the train was only half an hour late going and 20 minutes coming back, so I was very impressed.
