That about hits the nail on the lumpy bit at the top.
But what you failed to mention is the tremendous amount of fun involved.
The sport is about being the first person to go nowhere a certain number of times. Competition arrives when you try to go nowhere before the guy beside you get there, while at the same time trying desperately not to go somewhere, which would be a lot less fun.
Another thing you fail to mention, is that this process, of not going anywhere faster than everybody else, is also reassuringly expensive. Like Stella Artoir, it ensures that not just anybody is allowed to go nowhere, only the truly determined.
Tell me, are you a nowhere driver yourslef? I am, and I love ever minute of it.
