W3ll I hope you have better care than I had. My doctor told me that I had had nothing. !!
It was my cardiologist who had diagnosed my heart problem who requested te brain scan. That revealed apparently that I had suffered a Temporal stroke. A rather unpleasant one because you eventually forget who you are and where you are.
Hence the fact that I am doing my brain exercises. and rememebering thins long since gone into the pit of my brain. !!!
Go well and take care.
Christiane.

I know what old age is, but I wonder what to call the stage where go into their second childhood. Old youth?

Paul H,
And what, kind sir, do you call second childhood?
i think you are treading on dangerous ground.!!
I would say that in my generation, I am approaching my second childhood. However, I sincerely believe thatl through modern medcine and techonology, my grandchildren will probably go through their second childhood at least twenty if not more years after I will go through it.
After all, it is not so long ago that our expected lifespan was roughly forty years old.
Actually "we" are not amused. !!!!!
Too close to the bone for comfort. !

Very dear Bel,
thank you so much for givng me that lead. I do so appreciate it.
I am really amazed at what the memory exercises which I have been practising have done for me. i am getting complacent though, and seem to have difficulty finding time to do them. !! In my case, I have never yet got beyond the status of being a "bobbing bobcat" - which is an improvement on the sluggish snail status I remained on for the first fortnight of trying to do them. !!
Anyway thank you again so much. How did I miss those I wonder?
Perhaps I forgot - oh dear !!
!!!!
Perhaps I have fogotten that I had read them!
A couple of strong invectives which shall not be written down.
Christiane

Dear Christiane, I think you're doing very well.
I don't remember which level I reached, but it wasn't much higher than yours.
Kind regards
Bel
