Been there, had that. First memory of this stuff was coming down from a SERIOUSLY long game of Battlezone (I was GOOD at Battlezone) and walking down the street and seeing green lines down the straight edges of cars and buses... trippy.

More recently, the first time I saw an Audi TT for real, my FIRST thought was "nice graphics". I did a severe mental double take when I realised I had had to remind myself I was looking at an ACTUAL car. smiley - weird

Walking round the maze at Longleat caused a couple of Tomb Raider flashbacks too.

Not too long ago I sat down and re-played Riven (an old favourite) in anticipation of Myst III coming out. The next day I went to the park with a freind, looked at the duckpond and said "Wow. They've come a long way on those water effects, eh?". Needless to say, I was quite embarrassed, and she was very confused.

Hmm, yes, Myst and Riven were odd in that they weren't particularly interactive as games, but were very immersive. smiley - boing

The old Sierra Space Quest and Kings quest games were the BEST, you could play them for hours trying to figure out what to do! Very interactive.

I find myself sometimes talking like a Sim too!
Sool-sool!
