A Conversation for Routines Before You Leave The House
Coffee does it!

It's simple really.
Whatever else, I just want the warm flavour of coffee in my mouth. I tell myself and everybody else that I am not - per say - a coffee-addict, but I just like that special sensation.
There' I've admitted to it. Another nervous caffeine-addict.
Nervous? No, not really. I am sitting here before the comp with a nice, warm cuppa . And anyway, I simply consider it a nice part of a morning routine, making it somewhat easier to face the cold, sleety world outside.

P.S. And as I'm a teacher, I guess coffee-addiction is an industrial disease to my kind!

That makes sense.
*Drones* Don't talk to me about life before I have had coffee!
Once upon a time, one could buy caffeine-tablets OTC in Denmark, but no longer so. And anyway, caffeine is much better when consumed as a dark, sweet-smelling perculate!!!

Yup, another coffee addict here. My routine starts with a workout, then I get the coffee perking and the computer booting before I hit the shower (my computer takes a while to boot). The last step, of course, is to grab a cup of coffee and read my email while checking my routine websites.
I've read that here in the US, we brew our coffee differently, in my case by use of a cofee maker, which percolates boiling water through the ground coffee, located in a paper filter. Some folks think this is healthier ... if so, one of the few dietary habits in the US that are healthier than the rest of the world ...

Okay, I'm a coffee person too....My routine requires me to go get the coffee before anything, and I mean ANYTHING!!
So it usually works like, get up at 6:30 with the alarm, go get some coffee, drink it while scanning the newspaper, find something interesting to read, get involved, look at the time absently later and then go "Oh nooooooooooooooo...."
If I manage to get through the above without losing all track of time, THEN brush my teeth, shower, deo, et al.....So if there's something exciting in the newspaper or the coffee tastes unusually good (which it always does after a late drunk night), either I'm running late to office or people in office take one look at me and say rude things like "I'm standing downwind - and I know when you're approaching". The solution to that of course is to use lots of deo...so now you know where my money goes....

When - if - I get to work in good time, I can always catch a cuppa here. It's a school and I often reach to pour a cuppa in the teachers lounge, but I rarely finish drinking it. Alas.
During the next recess, I usually wash down the remaining (now cold) coffee and then make haste to refill the cup with nice, warm, yummylicious coffee!
