Yeah, I stumbled on this site by playing the text game, and it said I could save if I joined this website. Needless to say the site greatly intrigued me, but now I can't figure out how to get back to the game! I greatly look forward to exploring this site during homework breaks.

Don't worry about the Badgers - 2legs is official keeper of them and he is very good at it even if they are a bit savage
You will find that you start browsing pages and before you know it you can't remeber what you were looking at in the first place and 2 hours has passed by!!
This site is like a million interlinked caves with gems in each one!
I came here 2 years ago and haven't managed to escape yet - now I can't as I am addicted - and I don't regret a single minute of it

I find it fascinating. We just study theology, ministry, and Biblical studies from a Christian point of view. Right now I am studying world religions, the New Testament, spiritual formation, and New Testament Exegesis. It is a very intense major at my school, lots of reading adn papers and other work. For a two-year series of classes I have to outline the entire Bible. thankfully I am in my last semester of that. I tackle theology next year, as well as advanced Christian Ministries, wihch is basically a discussion class on how the Church should function.

That's insane. My roomate is a pre-med, and her books scare me. Congrats on getting through it!

AlexAshman Posted Jan 18, 2005
Medicine is equally scary, but h2g2 is a good excuse not to do any work.
I hope to follow 2legs' example and succeed while remaining a hootoo addict...

Does the whole course come from a Christian point of view or do you study the viewpoints of other religions? I once met someone who studied theology and she really enjoyed it as it covered a broad spectrum and didn't concentrate on coming from the viewpoint of one religion alone.

It is almost all from a Christian perspective, being a conservative Christian campus. But right now I am in a class that studies other religions, and it is not an apologetics course. We study each religion as it were true (I'm assuming, we haven't done more than introductory lectures). But in lots of classes we will discuss a topic and talk about what other religions/ideas would think of the same topic.
