Hello, just joined and wanted to see if there were any other amateur historians out there? I generally study ancient to WWII. .
I am also thinking of writing an historical novel but haven't decided which era to place it in, so if there are other struggling authors out there I really would appreciate some input for ideas.

You have just been <./>ACE</.>d by Stealth and his message will assist your passage around hootoo
If you click on "Front Page" you will find "Life" "The Universe" and "Everything" where you will find edited works from Researchers to the site. Hopefully, you will be adding your own contributions in no time
In the meantime, have a cup of and a slice of and enjoy your tour of hootoo

You may interested in another of the dna communities www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/ with peoples accounts of their experiences of WWII.
And/or www.bbc.co.uk/getwriting/ whose days are sadly numbered.
But don't leave hootoo, we're the bestest!

Maybe I will when I get some time. Too busy arguing with the US government and the State of New Hampshire regarding my birth defect and other health issues.

And don't fight by yourself. ALL of us in the US need and deserve health care comparable to other countries. You'll find allies in unexpected places.

In regards to this I finally convinced the US gov. that I was truly qualified for my Social Security disability. It took me two and half years to do it. Unfortunately for me ,my mom did not survive to see it happen. She past away the same day the judge ordered them ( the US gov.) to start giving me what I was entitled to. This was on March 15,2005.
