h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am trying to write my first article which is going to be about a coffe shop I know of but I am afraid it will sound like an advertisment since I really like the place any suggestions?

It's wonderful that you've expressed an interest in writing an entry for the Edited Guide I wouldn't worry too much about it sounding like an advertisement. It's generally expected that the author's view comes through in h2g2 entries - unlike an encyclopedia or wikipedia, which insist on rigid standards of neutrality. We value opinions, and if someone comes along who hates that coffee place, they're welcome to write another entry or leave a comment on the entry.

Here's a good entry that is about a Coffee Shop in the UK - A545203 Read it over to get a feel for what's expected. *Your* entry doesn't have to look anything like that particular entry in the end, but it's worth taking a peek at some other entries. Also, the Writing-Guidelines are occasionally helpful for new researchers.

Let me know if you have questions though. I'd like to see how your first effort turns out.
