Hello tweetysme2 and welcome to hootoo, or h2g2! I'm one of the assistant community editors here and I'll be leaving a welcoming message on your page/space.

Hello Tweety! I am also an ACE (like jazz; who is a very & friendly person, as are most folks on this site.*waves to jazz*
I'm sure you will make lots of new friends on here, communication is so vital, especially when life gets tough!
Anyone on here who knows me will tell you that i'm always around for a chat, debate, mutual whinge, joke swap: whatever! I live in France so am pretty starved for conversation in English (yeah, but i chose to live here, so i can't complain!)
One small piece of advice for "newbies" to the site is that "Write something on your Personal Space"; it doesn't have to me much at all & you can edit & change it later, even just "hello, i exist!" or whatever will do for now...but you will find people drop by to say hello to you much more easily (only the ACE's tend to see these messages on the "I'm New" thread)
Anyway, welcome to hootoo, do have some & take a look around: we are mostly harmless!
zdt (the lazy way of signing Zen Devil Terri, the smileys for that are ....Terri is my real name!)

I thought you were Yoda and Terri was the cat... No wonder I've been so confused all these years.
And welcome Tweety, do some exploring and you'll find the site has everything from the nonsense japing to involving debates on any number of diverse subjects. Many lasting friendships and relationships have be born on hootoo. It's kind of an online pub and encyclopedia.

Fret not, Real Life people who've known both of us for years call me Yoda & her Terri, we can cope, we mainly answer to "Oy, you, are yer listening or not?"...depending on how we feel, we answer or not!

Azathoth, that's a great encapsulation of hootoo - do you mind if I use it?
