George, you're not MCB in disquise are you? S/he always put my woeful spelling and grammar to rights - I miss her.
Pirates have a separate area they frequent on here - as due to a certain trolling element, they now have completely different names and spaces. So you would need to start a fresh space....

Hello again CG - no, I'm afraid this is the only nom-de-souris I've ever used (apart from a very few recent random 'guest' postings on the Goldie when the fur was flying) so I claim a big 'mea non culpa' on the MCB front. I will, however, try to curb my grammatical pedantry to only those occasions when a genuinely rewarding cheap laugh can be obtained.

Probably wise, in general. In my case, MCB taught me how to spell many a word my formal education failed to instil (you see, should that have another 'l' - I just don't know!)in me.
