Hello form the armpit of creation!

Hello! Having stumbled accross this site sometime ago (and having promptly forgotten all about it) I came accross it once again when clearing out my outrageously large file of links. Since I could not remember just what it was i clicked on it anf found myself back here. This time I looked about a bit... and I liked what I saw!
So if someone would like to take an American novice under their wing (or tentacle, arm or extruded psuedo-pod as the case may be) and show me about I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi there, Jaye Dreamer! If you write a little something on your Personal Space, a friendly ACE will come along to welcome you, and take you under their appendage of choice!
For now, I'll welcome you! Welcome!

By the way, what particular armpit do you hail from? I'm on Long Island.

I'm from a tiny berg called Bay Point in California out here on the left coast... this is a one horse town where the horse has been shot, turned to glue, and the cap to the glue bottle has been lost long ago.
I have tried to make a journal entry but keep getting that it was unable to access! QUITE frustrating!

Julie,
Hello does NOT form the armpit of creation.
Unless it is the name of a small midwestern town more depressing than a Belgian village on a quet, drizzly Sunday afternoon in February.
Regards from the low countries

PS I'm looking for a whole bunch of fellow posters who claim to be pirates, but whose scatological humour (that's spelled the right way before you ask) has had them cast adrift like the Flying Dutchman from many a bulletin board Some of them thought me a pedant but that was only the ones whose grammar didn't pass muster..... please help!
