A Conversation for I'm New - What Do I Do Now?

I logged on with a R2 site and after rooting around I found HooToo(getting the local jargon!), so I happily logged on here with the same ID. It now appears that I can't use the "My Journal" because I'm considered to be an R2 entity.
Any suggsetions for an easy fix?

you need to sign in to H2G2 to be a H2 G2 user, rather than getting here via another site

Brain is finally coming online. I have now cacelled with R2 but might have to wait for it all to update before I can use the journal. If I still have the same problem I'll cancel the lot then log in again though I may have to use a slightly different ID.
I'll put a post up on the final outcome.
