Hi Catherine and welcome. A proper person (ace) will be along to welcome you soon, but I just happened to be lurking. lots of lurking goes on here. It's a great site and people are really friendly. If you are serious about writing it's also great. Lots of poeple will pop in and say hello and offer praise and critcism (kind and constructive criticism) and you will meet loads of peeps from all over the galaxy. Maybe see you again sometime. Thank you for sending such a friendly reply! I am already getting to know my personal space, but more help would be welcome - there seems to be far too much information here to take in all at once and I'm always scared that once i leave a page I won't be able to find it again. Can anyone help me?

I think if you look underneath your personal space you'll find that an ACE (like me) has left you a message. They should be able to give you some more help.

Researcher 225162, I've just noticed two people have left "ACE" messages for you
If you follow either of them you'll do just fine, of course if you want to know anything from the rest of us, don't hesitate to ask . We're all quite friendly around here 
And I've not known anyone to bite anyones head off.
