Right, that's it! I've had enough. I'm leaving!

That's what I would say if I was leaving H2G2 permanently. I might add some insults in there too, and maybe list some people's names who have been friends with me.

However, I'm not leaving forever, but just for the next week or so. I'm taking a break from it all - I might go fishing... if I can find a fishing rod, a river with some fish in, and get someone to teach me how to fish... actually I probably won't go fishing... okay, I won't go fishing. I will not take part in any fishing at all.

Anyway, the point of this message, was to say, I'm not going to be around for the next week. And I'm NOT going fishing.

So what will you do? Ice-skating, there's a good ring in Peterborough if I remember clearly?

Is this something do with the new skills you've picked up at the newspaper you were at? You're taking the Dailyness outside into the real world?

Oh well, if you're going, you're going. 'So you think we are nothing? We are nobody'

How will we be able to replace you for a week? (Nibbles! You've got the Job!)

Why not just take a net and go down to the local aquarium and therefore you can fish or you take a steak from the fridge, stick a hook through it tied to a chain and chuck it in the sea- akin to Jaws and have the net ready!

Not to worry, there are no man-eating Sharks at the moment but blood in the water will bring them and of course there's the Kraken but it won't come asure unless its's stormy so pick your day!

How you enjoy your excursion and you better have plenty of holiday snaps

Like the author of "The Bible Code" you're reading into my post too much... I wasn't actually thinking of you when I wrote that... although if it makes you think I'm cleverer than I am you can carry on thinking that :p
