Why Hello Bryher and welcome to the H2G2 lifestyle!

I am sure you have had a good look around the site and there is lots about. You are bound to be ACEed soon enough by some kind ACEer - what a brilliant name smiley - smiley Smilies are great, if you click on any of them, they'll take you to the page with the full list. It is also a good idea to have a look at the GuideML because, without it, your articles will look soo blocky and impenetrable! An important thing to remember, if you are writing in GuideML in an article, you should always start with the tags:

< GUIDE>
< BODY>

then write all you want and finish with

< /BODY>
< /GUIDE>

taking out the spaces between the < and the G, B or /.
Simple to implement but I didn't see it all that specifically stated in any of the guides around. The code is very much like HTML and rules can *usually* be crossed over between languages.

Anyways, I will allow you to walk around the complex a bit more, enjoy your stay smiley - biggrin

Nothing really to ask, other than - can I use GuideMl in these replies - or does it have to be rich text?!

thanks

GuideML only works in entries. And entries can be done in both text and GuideML - there's a box to click for which one you want to use.

So for these - it's just typing away, no special codes. Except for smileys. smiley - biggrin

They're not too hard to learn... most of them make perfect sense:

< angel > is smiley - angel, < cake > is smiley - cake... and so forth. smiley - ok
