Thank you for saying its a gift
Yes, it has steered me wrong, but I am never afraid to admit it when it has, sometimes quite forthrightly...which can and has made others feel alienated towards myself, or think I'm a freak which is ok..

I have sent a short email last week saying;
I have been thinking of you and I love you.
Then a seperate one that was "just a laugh" because that is typical for me.
I hope he calls next week.
I will call if he does not.
Then I'll wait.
It may take a while he is every bit as stubborn as me
I will not push beyond that for a while because I do not want to force a whine before it's time.

Nah. I am a fairly tiny person with big wishes.
No responses from my brother yet
waiting.....
I may get impatient if next Tuesday passes without hearing from him.
Twinny and I are a tad sad we have less than 4 days but we will get over that quickly,no time to waste.
Better not be 3 years again!
No reason in our sights for that to happen again so we will think positively

Nothing wrong with big wishes or great expectations, as long as you have a strong mental bunker in case of a fallout...
Glad your creating great memories now with your twinny for the times that you don't get to see her as much as you'd like.

Hi dear abbi and smurfles,
thank you for the postings,
Isn't there an expression
"You can choose your friends but not your family"
I am enormously blessed with my youngest brother who is an angel straight out of heaven. He lives in New York though which is a bit far away!!.
I sometimes think that sibling relationships is rather like knocking one's head against a brick wall. I have been tidying up - or rather trying to tidy!! - my study of all the papers. Yesterday I found letters and notes from my sister which I had kept and was totally appalled. I had forgotten those "insults""
That is the best thing to do, because in that way one keeps on trying and like a drip of water - well something happens eventually.
Have a good day my very dear "chosen" friends
A big to you both.

Abbi ,
I have no doubt that Kerry will win the election.I worry as to Bush`s reaction.I think another terrorist attack, declaring a state of emergency, postponing elections..Dubya for life
It`s incredible how well Michael Moore`s film is doing, there has never been such an audience for a documentary. If 1 thing effects the election-the film will be it.

hello AR1,and abbi of course,.I too have recollections of insults hurled over the telephone from a sibling, and forget them until i read old diaries!!Families are like that apparently,it makes me wonder if all that venom is still there when things are okay??
It can't just be dispelled because someone says sorry...so once said, things can never be the same again. My family mean everything to me,they are my world, and next to them the friends i have.I am so happy that you are both included in that.s and sal

Yea! your right there Smurfles, "once said" it can be forgiven but never forgotten
After that, things will never be the same, as that will always be in the back of your mind!
