Cheers. I like the name too, Smudger Snippets. Nice alliteration, or whatever it's called.

Hope the reunion goes well. It can be very odd to see someone after a couple of years, let alone 36, but true friendships never really die.
Hi RK, I hope you like the snippets, smudger seems to have an outlook on life that I share in a lot of ways. In the last couple of weeks he has brought back a lot of memories for me.

Hi RK, Im glad you found it at least this time we wont be meeting up on our old ship, as that one was turned into razor blades long ago
Hi TK, I see you have been busy posting, I like catching up with all the threads, it can take ages though, if a lot of folk are posting to the same topic not had much time to write up any thing lately, so better get going
Smudger.

I know some bloke who knows some bloke who knows the drummer from the Clash. Apparently he's a complete alcoholic, whenever he's going out out to buy something he has to give the money to his accountant, cos otherwise he'll just go out and spend it on booze.

Wonderful benefits if like me you are a guitarist! Maiden were never my favourite band, but the guy knows sooooo much and has turned me onto some rare jeff beck. Interestingly the last time we spoke he was almost constantly listening to sinatra, perhaps the next album will be lounge jazz!
RK I have also heard that about the Clash drummer, sad when someone has so much, yet squanders it. Drink can be a very dangerous thing.

It must be good. My drum teacher put me on to Led Zeppelin, he's jammed with John Paul Jones.
Yeah drink is dangerous. You have to know your limits. That's what adolescence if for .
