Twinny and I are enjoying our time together.
I hope this is an excused absence from hooting
I wanted to share our favorite special moment.
I was going to post on WB's nature page but we wanted to be sure and remember it, so I'm placing it here.
Bird watching throughout the day through the new windows she enjoys as much as I, we saw this;
We see the same two birds fly in and land on the wires just above the feeder and inches from the window.
We noticed one was either one legged or injured.
Watching hopeful the leg would drop we witnessed the adult bird repeatedly bring the adult partner seed and drop it into the partners mouth.
Neither of us ever witnessed an injured adult bird being fed by another one Seed, not worms.
Maybe it is common, in any case, it was an umcommon delight for us!
I hope things are pretty good for all of you.
Let me know if you can or I'll catch you later for sure
Twinny is here for another week.
I think of you hootooers every day.
A special hug for Willem whom I read was feeling extra lonelyI hope it as passed.

Very dear abbi big
I thought that was the reason why I had not heard from you. You must have missed my post when I suggested that we spend today together, on that walkway above the forest trees in Colorado. You remember we spoke about it a few years ago.
Well, I never heard from you, and some friends have been asking me for the link. Abbi I do not know how to do that!. Was that a RL walk or a virtual walk? I can never tell!!.
If you have the time to read my homepage you wil see why I wanted to do that walk today. I am so glad that you are having a great time with twinny,. Also how wonderful to watch those birds and to see an adult bird helping his/her mate. It gives one confidence in life again.
With much affection

I'm glad to hear that you and Twinny are enjoying each other's company so much, and that your absence has been due to spending such wonderful times together.
The story about the two birds was beautiful!

Aww, abbi-wooh! So glad it's all worked out so well; i bet you two haven't stopped talking! So much lost time to catch up on.
The birds helping each other out seem symbolic somehow don't they?
Squeak later, you have better things to do right now in RL. Say hi to twinny from me.

Hi abbi! I'm very happy to hear how you're enjoying your time with Twinny. Interesting about the injured bird getting cared for! Can you perhaps tell me what kind of bird it was?
Thanks for the hugs abbi and azahar! I'm still lonely. I *so* need someone here with me to do fun things with ... well I can't really complain that much since this weekend I'm going on a trip with the one guy over here who also shares many of my interests ... we're going on a plant-finding expedition into the mountains ... but we don't get together very often.

Willem I hope you have a lovely time on your outing.
Maybe you will meet new people through your friend or on the outing some more friends with the same interest is always desirable.
You never know when a new friend will pop up!
I can appreciate the feeling of lonliness since Twinny coming was my latest temporary cure.
**********
I hope I will be on here more in the near future.
This placed helped immensly when I participated more.
The friends I have made keep me coming back, if only for a short visit.
**********
Our has cancer that has spread to the lung, rather advanced.
I am not sure if we have days or weeks to spend with him.
I try to live a day at a time, some things bring it to your conciousness more readily than others
We will relive him of suffering when he shows us it is time.
I do not believe in having them continue to live for us.
He is happy and rather "normal" acting at this time.
*********
I am in the process of changing medications.
I think I will be better off for it.
I get these giggles from nowhere and would not want to attend a funeral during this period( or any other obviously)
I think the frequency will ease up later on so I am trying to enjoy the ones I can! Really on an emotional roller coaster right now
I miss you all and think of you more than it shows right now
Twinny is gone as of last night
Sure was Great to see hercomfort level (physical and emotional) better in general, than the last visit.
*My eye is swollen and extremely irritating, posting is rough with it being a constant irritaion*

Very sorry to hear your dog has cancer.
I haven't been on much, but I am doing well. Been reading the books "Blink" and "The Tipping Point". Cool nonfiction.
I am glad you are finally getting to try new meds, and hope transition goes well.

Abbi sighting!
So sorry about doggie. That's going to be incredibly difficult for you. The only help i've ever found in this situation is to get a new pup ASAP; obviously it wouldn't replace your beloved old friend, but does at least keep a in your lives & a young 'un is so demanding & that it takes your mind slightly off the loss.
Great that you had some time with twinny, but you must be missing her so much now. Plus with physical stuff, it's all hitting at once isn't it love?
I haven't emailed 'cos i thought you probably needed to spend time with your own stuff & cut down on internet meanwhile, i respect that. But if you feel up to it, send me an email, weeping, wailing & gnashing of teeth are all acceptable!

Hiya Abbi. Glad that Twinny and you had a nice visit- sorry that it's over already. And I'm really very sorry to hear about your pup being gravely ill. I have lost special animal friends and remember how awful that loss was.
I haven't bothered you with email for basically the same reasons as Terri, but always love hearing from you and continue to cherish your friendship.

Hi Abbi
Like everyone else, I was saddened to read about your friend; but you are right in saying that he will let you know when it is time. I have recently gone through the loss of my dog of 15 years with the same condition. One of the most touching things for me was that a couple of days afterwards, we received a card with a picture of him on the front, from our Vet - with the caption "our thoughts are with you on the loss of your companion"
After a while, the good memories will overtake the sad ones - I haven't quite got to that stage yet, but I'm sure it will get easier.

My dear abbi big
I am so glad that you had a good visit from Twinny.
So sorry to hear about your darling This why I really cannot bear to have a pet anymore. It is such a tragedy when they die and one is left again alone.
Sorry to hear about the eye. Is it the mew medication which has caused it?
Hope we can resume our talks and discussion s very soon.
with much affctionate

The place in Colorado is called "Wilderness on Wheels" and it IS real. It is a rather smooth boardwalk and grade which allows electric chairs to go or pushed models by the healthy. They want a wheelchair person along with any group unless of course you are there to volunteer
I will find a link and post it here AR1. It should be easy to locate with an internet search for the persons here in Colorado. I have posted it before we missed each other before.
Willem the bird is a common small round brown(s)song bird to the US.
I believe we may have one of several variations here.
I will find out for you!
Terri please write.
I am quiet and alone this weekend so have the time to read.
Just me and Hubby has had a bad month with dog and work. He was delighted (as I )that twinny was here and able to relax more than she thought possible He REALLY NEEDED a fishing trip.
I am keeping sedated and on pain meds until he returns. I make sure I pet him each time he awakes so he does not get up much.
I wanted hubby to relax a bit if possible. I think we will discuss afterwards

Very dear abbi,
thank you so much for the information on the "Wilderness on wheels". I am SO glad that it is true. and who knows, perhaps we shall be able to do it one day. I shall try and find it through Google, and if I cannot, then when you send the link to me then I shall be able to send it to....I think it was Scorpio.
Very pleased your eye is better. so very sorry about your dog> where does your husband go fishing and what does he fish for? Is it trout? Or perhaps salmon?
with much affection and I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit from twinny.
