It genuinely puzzles me that you can get pre-mixed pancake batter. I mean...how difficuly is it?
Note to USAnians: the traditional British Shrove Tuesday ('Mardi Gras')pancake is more like a crepe (although Scots pancakes are more like yours. Ish,). They're traditionally served with sugar and lemon juice - which is how I gave them to my kids last light. However...I saved a few which I filled for dinner with mushrooms, leeks, spinach, creme fraiche and parmesan.
