There are more people who would like to take this on than just one person, some of who volunteered months ago, so I don't think this should be just a cut and dried 'someone has volunteered somewhere obscure therefore they get to do it' event. It needs to be a transparent process.

I would also like to remind you at this point that reef only took it on because no-one else would do it. Where were all these people then?

'Back then' I did volunteer - there's a thread on my space along those lines. I don't know where the original one was where I volunteered.

I can't help it that I haven't been following Reefgirl around and seen her complaints, but as soon as I did see them, I posted on her space. In a slight temper, so perhaps it wasn't clear that I was offering to take in on. But having been hanging around hoping to help and then finding that once again I'm being brushed aside, I'm jumping in with both feet.

I found where I first volunteered, even earlier than I thought - FP25549?thread=577915&post=6538159#p6656437 February. Interestingly in a post before even Reefgirl.
