I'm sure I used to have a sense of humour. I wonder where it went...

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Sep 11, 2007
Have you looked down the back of the sofa? I'm always finding things... mainly cigarette lighters though it has to be said, under the sofa Or in teh fridge? I ocasionally find odd things like the remote contorl that I've acidentally put into the fridge whilst being absent minded

For me to have sunny days in the future I need a sense of humour and sense of fun to get me there. Without my sense of fun and humour how can I ingratiate myself with and form a healthy relationship with new people? Even when I was regularly cutting and burning holes in myself I could still be playful. I haven't been playful in a very long time.

I did enjoy my mini tour of Scandinavia, it was a really good thing for me.
But, I don't mean that I can't laugh at other's jokes when I say I've lost my sense of humour, I mean I've lost the skill of generating things that are funny from own personal sense private sense of what funny. And, I say I've lost my playfulness, and sense of fun I also mean from within, the ability to generate it.

Wish I could hand you a recipe book... All I can suggest is doing stupid things... Take a walk in a park and imagine what it's like to be a squirrel or something and then be absurd, make up stories about things and people tht make you chuckle... I dunno, I think that's what I do...
I have also been known to bark at people.
And take compliments from people even when they arent compliments OR directed at me...
If it makes you grin it'll be funny, even if only to you!!!
Woof!

Oh it's great fun! Like, someone says 'thanks' without specifying who to, if you act a little coy and mumble, 'that's ok, it was no problem, really!' you feel better instantly, plus the added benefot of REALLY confusing people, which is amusing too!
to balance it out I have days where I apologise unreservedly fo any and everything that goes wrong or is slightly inconvenient.
@Damn, it's raining and I've got to go across the yard!'
'Oh, I'm really sorry ... I'll try and do better next time, ok?'

You remind me of how used to be before the part of myself that believed I was exceptionally worthless and deserved to die and that all my insecurities weren't doubts but undeniable truth took a tee shredder to my personality leaving nothing but a numb, banal emptiness.

you certainly dont come across as either numb or banal... And if it dont sound like a duck or look like a duck...

Armadillos -- crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside.

Ah, see, that sounds more like 2legs... I'd have put you in the green, sparkly and fluffy armadillo categrory... You know, just a fringe of maribou around the bottom edge...

Thanks that's actually very flattering.
Pink Fairy Armadillos are the smallest variety of Armadillo and live out in the plains of Argentina.

This makes me wonder if you are pulling my leg, or actually telling the truth... because I can actually imagine very small pink armadillos...
