I'm no fan of eating sprouts but I have long found them a source of humour... Barry The Talking Time Sprout/Theophany being the ultimate in sprout related humour.

Guess what: my sister served sprouts with the turkey Fortubnately, she had red cabbage as well.

We had no sprouts at all. I was actually disappointed.

My husband was very pleased, he never gets sprouts here - he'd either have to buy and coook (not to mention eat)them himself, or rely on being invited somewhere else.

I haven't found any stollen. Nevermind, I've put on enough weight with all the marzipan and cake and chocolate and desert and cream and Irish cream I've been consuming... I may be better off for the lack of a stollen.

The stollen was a from my last visitors, she is originally from East Germany, so i suppose it's a link to home.

The sprouts i've had for ages, now nicely frozen. My next set of visitors are from Belgium, but i've asked them to bring rather than sprouts if they feel like giving me a
