ok the title grabbed me LOL. this is one of the best UK websites on BPD available. it is run by people that have the disorder - know what they are talking about and currently trying to change legislation about it being classed as a personality disorder rather than a mental illness. The legal issues regarding personality disorders are relevant in that you can lose all rights some of the bills trying to be passed through parliament. Personality disorder mean you could have limitations put on you JUST IN CASE YOU DO SOMETHING BAD if some of the current UK bills are put through.

Many people suffer with BPD but are undiagnosed due to medics incompetance. BUT if you are diagnosed with it then there papers advising medics not to treat you because of the kind of hassle and threats they may get, my own therapist told me that i would be treated differently by some docs and psyches once you have been labelled with it - true fact.
