Bothersome Machine....
Snailrind Posted Dec 27, 2005
I'm not sure... It could just be my mind, you see: I have to wash it out with soap on a regular basis.
I thought you were asking me if I'd like a shaggin' or a bottle of wine, so I suggested a bit of both.

I always thought Dark Side of the Moon to be depressing and Leonard Cohen as well. But listening to Pink Floyd I realized I find the Wall depressing and Dark Side of the Moon rather pleasing. In my memory I got those two records mixed up and I listened to them in the room of my housemate who was very depressed at that time as a young adolescent girl and the book L. Cohen wrote I waS GIVEN as a pressy by a young adolescent Englishman from Porthmouth who had written his own poems on the back of the front and backcover and he was in a very sad and sorrowful mood as well when i met him and he was generally unhappy and lost and therefore I think depression is a distinction of adolescence in general.

Oh dearie me. This sounds like a pretty accurate summing up of somebody i just spent/endured Christmas with. None of his family contacted him, not his kids or his parents or brother. I offered use of my phone so HE could contact them "No, it's up to them to contact me" So he took it out on me & eventually i couldn't take it any more, told him to go & sulk at his own place & come back when he could act a bit more rationally with the only person in the world who seems to care for him. This was met with " i thought you were my best friend, you're just like all the rest, i am a
"
*sigh*
I checked he got home OK (he has threatened suicide on many occasions)& later texted him nice safe non judgemental hopeful message. (He never contacts me, just turns up at whatever time of day or night suits him)
"i am staying in my apartement with TV, i want to be zen alone"
"OK; fine"
"But phone me tomorrow"
"OK"
Just phoned; "Go away, i am in my car!"
"So are you coming here?"
"NO!"
*sigh*
Not easy dealing with this sort of stuff.
Anyway, Some Otherness, glad to see you are so much better than before, it's an uphill struggle, but you are doing great!

Milla, it did seem out of character, but I thought the virtual must have loosened you up rather more than you intended.
